Introduction to Professional Make-Up Artistry delivered via a blend of 7 week on-campus intensive face to face learning and online modules. Learn practical, hands-on makeup techniques from our Senior Artists & Educators. This course runs across a 7-week period on-site at one of our 2 Academy locations through a blended training model and is designed to further enhance your educational experience with TMT and empower you with the confidence and skills to become a great make-up artist.
 
It consists of the following components:
1) 7 x Weekly 7-hour theory, demonstration and supervised hands-on practical session and accredited assessment on the 7th week,
2) The 7 weekly 7 hour full day face to face class is further supported by a series of online modules, that include in-depth written theory, step-by-step written get-the-look guides and pre-recorded video content
 
 
Cost is $2,699 [Makeup Kit RRP valued over $1,200 is included]
All other tools and makeup required by the course are provided in the class.
A Certificate of attainment is gained on the successful completion

Week 4: Advanced Techniques

  • Tattoo Covering & Cut Crease: Learn techniques for covering tattoos and create the perfect cut crease for a dramatic, defined look.

Week 5: Mature Makeup

  • Mature Makeup: Learn how to apply makeup that enhances natural beauty and doesn’t weight down the face. Learn how to transform a Natural look to a glam look on Mature models

Week 6: Fashion/ Catwalk & Remedial Camouflage 

  • Fashion/Editorial Looks: Learn advanced techniques for high-fashion and editorial makeup, focusing on creativity and precision.
  • Remedial Camouflage: Learn how to correct skin discoloration, blemishes, scares, rosaacea and more.

Week 7: Accredited Practical Assessments

  • Accredited Assessments: You will complete your practical assessments during this final week. These assessments cover key areas such as makeup health and hygiene, colour correction, skin preparation, and more.

Accreditation

Completing this course will also give you a statement of attainment for 3 units of the Certificate III in Makeup, including:

  1. SHBBMUP009 – Design and Apply Makeup.
  2. SHBBMUP011 – Design and Apply Remedial Camouflage Makeup.
  3. SHBXWHS003 – Apply Safe, Healthy, Hygiene, and Work Practices.

Course Structure

  • Duration: 7 weeks, with one 7 hour final assessment session.
  • Format: Weekly 7-hour in-person classes, supported by online modules
  • Time Commitment: Expect to invest 15-30 hours per week, including online studies, practical assessments, and classroom time.

We offer a Study Now, Pay Later option through Afterpay. Secure your spot with a non-refundable $250 deposit. Full payment is due two weeks before the course starts. If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you can opt for a refund or defer your enrollment to the next intake. Please note that full payment is required 2 weeks before commencement.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure your place in the course. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you need to cancel after the course has started, a fee of $450 per week of attendance plus a kit fee will apply. You can defer your studies to the next available course without penalty.

    Our teacher, Darren, was wonderful. He was able to gently correct my mistakes and gave me some amazing tips for how to improve.
