Schedule

Week 1

Blood effects, film realism, illness simulation.

Face/body charts (cuts, burns, bruises).

Week 2

  • Scratches, cuts, bullet wounds (entry/exit, deceased effects).

  • Defensive injury scenarios (abuse, healing stages).

Week 3

  • Burn degrees (fire, acid, electrical).

  • Bald cap application (latex, Glatzen, hair wrapping).

Week 4

  • Aging techniques (creams, latex).

  • Stubble/beards (crepe hair, gender swaps).

What’s Included?

What to Bring?
  • Clothing: Black/dark tops (blood washes out, but stains happen!)

  • Notebook/Sketchbook

  • Phone (to document your work)

  • Basic makeup kit  Optional (brushes, sponges. We provide all tools in class, but you’re welcome to bring your own!)

Do I need experience?

Nope! Beginners welcome. We start with fundamentals.

Can I take my creations home?

Yes! Silicone wounds and prosthetics you make are yours to keep.

How graphic is the content?

Very. We use real injury references, not recommended for the squeamish.

Can this lead to film/TV work?

Absolutely! Many alumni work in horror films and fright-nights.
