To enroll in the CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media, all you need is:
- Completed year 10 or equivalent: Applicants who have not completed Year 12 must complete the LLN Test to identify any support needs. International students must have a minimum English proficiency of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.

Our graduates are often hired as makeup artists for production studios, fashion shoots, and live events or find success building their own bridal makeup businesses. With a wealth of industry contacts and a strong portfolio, your career as a professional makeup artist starts here.
For full time study, this course requires 30 – 35 hours nominal hours of study per week. This consists of attending live / recorded classroom sessions online, supervised practicals, structured learning activities, including homework, assignments, assessment preparation and online study.
To achieve the CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media, students must successfully complete all 15 units of the course complete an additional 200 hours of work experience. TMT is happy to assist students with finding places that align with their career path.
Assessments include practical projects, quizzes, and assignments that demonstrate your makeup skills and knowledge. Your trainer will provide feedback and support throughout the course.

CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialist Make-up Services) is an Approved Course for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan (VSL). To apply for VET Student Loans (VSL), please check the eligibility and entry requirements or contact us. The Tuition Fee of $18,000 is fully covered by VSL.
The School requires a deposit and admin fee to be paid before enrolment into a course.

International students, and students with Smart & Skilled funding are required to purchase their makeup kit costs from $1,200 – $2,990 depending on their needs.
