TMT was originally established in 1985 as an industry based boutique Makeup School. It was at the forefront of the industry being one of the only two colleges in Australia delivering quality makeup courses at the time. Over the last few decades, TMT has been a strong advocate of quality industry led training and actively contributed to the development of diploma and advanced diploma level training packages in Australia. It has trained thousands of makeup artists who are now working around the world.
Since its establishment, the makeup industry has grown immensely and has evolved to demand more holistic soft and technical skills from graduates to meet the ever evolving and challenging role of a successful makeup artist. Beauty and Entertainment businesses also value and start demanding graduates to work across the industries with multiple skill sets. To meet this challenge, TMT has since broaden its education offering in beauty, hairdressing, marketing and business to produce all rounded graduates with confidence to take on the world stage.

Step 1 – Course discussion
Call us or contact us to discuss the best course for you. Arrange a time for an in-person campus tour or video call.
We will also discuss with you available payment options. Depending on the course and location, government funding and loans may be available.
Step 2 – Enrolment application
Complete our online enrolment application forms here.
- If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, apply here: Domestic Student Enrolment Form
- If you are an International student, apply here: International Student Enrolment Form
- Apply for your Unique Student Identifier (USI) here: https://www.usi.gov.au/. (If you are an international student, apply for your USI after arriving in Australia).
- If you have not completed Year 12 in Australia, you will need to complete the online Literacy and Numeracy test (LLN).
Step 3 – Smart and Skilled Funding
NSW Government Smart and Skilled Funding may be available for eligible students. For more information, please read Smart and Skilled Funding Information.

Step 4 – Acceptance
Our enrolments team will review and process your application as quickly as possible.
We will then contact you to offer you a place in the course, and send the enrolment offer to you to accept and sign.
Step 5 – Payment
We will finalise the funding and payment options for your study. We’ll complete the government loan or funding process (where applicable), or setup a payment plan for you.
